Lecture by Norman Dott on the hypothalamus. The talk was delivered to Glasgow University Medico-Chirurgical Society, dated February 1937. It was originally billed as 'Concerning Surgical Neurology', hence Dott's opening sentence 'To change the mind is the prerogative of the female'.
